Speaking of RDR2 maps, modder ‘ RedMaxBR‘ has released some custom maps in an attempt to recreate Red Dead Redemption’s locations. Additionally, they can place pedestrians, vehicles, pickups, objects and more wherever they want. Moreover, they can use runtime scripts in their maps to control virtually anything without the annoying compiling and code building. This editor will allow you to “ create new maps, game modes or anything you like.” And, since Rockstar has not released any modding tools for this game, this may very well be the editor that most modders will start using from now on.īy using this map editor, modders can export to ymaps & import ymaps straight in the editor.
However, that may soon change as Lambda has released an unofficial map editor for it.Īccording to Lambda, this is the most advanced map editor for Rockstar’s title. Always open to feedback for how these mod list selections are present as well.Red Dead Redemption 2 came out in 2019 on PC and since then we haven’t seen any major mods for it.

This is noted as being not finished and having issues, that aside it’ll be hilarious once running smoothly.
You might have played on console prior, or just not be interested in starting from scratch. This is simple and while I have another save option one for later this is to the point. Skip the boring opening intro, get right into the actual action.

It would be great to get a weekly thing going like back with Fallout 4 when that launched, but we’ll have to wait and see. These are of course basic, and hopefully more complex additions will be developed over time. While the mods are minimal at the current point, I’ve managed to wrangle some options that might benefit your playthrough experience.
